We're not a faceless software company. We're event vendors who got tired of cobbling together spreadsheets, notes apps, and hope.
The Company
VendorPad is built by Hotline Labs Ltd, a small software company based in Tonypandy, South Wales. We've been writing software professionally since 2005 — enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, mobile apps — but VendorPad is the first thing we've built for ourselves.
A few years back, we bought a mobile catering unit and started trading at markets, weddings, and festivals across South Wales. That's where we discovered first-hand how broken the admin side of vending really is. Every tool on the market was either built for American wedding planners or required a laptop you'll never open between serves.
So we combined both halves of our experience — two decades of building software and the reality of running a van — and started work on VendorPad. The full story of why we built it (and the specific problems we kept running into) is on the Why VendorPad page.
We're a registered UK company (No. 11873778). We answer our own emails, and we still trade at events when the weather's right.
