How to permanently remove your VendorPad account and data

1. Overview

You can delete your VendorPad account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains the two ways to request deletion, what happens when you do, and what we are permitted to retain after your account is closed.

2. Delete From Within the App

If you can sign in to VendorPad, this is the fastest way to delete your account:

  • Open the VendorPad app on your phone, or sign in at members.vendorpad.app.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Delete Account.
  • Confirm the request when prompted.

Your account will be closed immediately and your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 90 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.

3. Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, or you would prefer to request deletion in writing, email us from the address associated with your account:

Subject line: Delete My Account

Please include in your message:

  • Your full name as it appears on the account
  • The email address associated with your VendorPad account
  • Your business name (if known)

We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and confirm by email once your account has been closed. We complete email-based requests within 30 days.

4. What Gets Deleted

When we delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile and login credentials
  • Customer and lead records you have created
  • Events, bookings and calendar entries
  • Equipment, inventory and compliance records
  • Quotes, invoices and payment records
  • Photos, documents and any files you have uploaded
  • Messages, notes and any other personal data stored in VendorPad

5. What We May Retain

We may retain a limited amount of information after your account is closed, only where we are legally required or have an overriding lawful basis to do so. This includes:

  • Financial records: Records of transactions, invoices and payment receipts may be retained for up to six years to meet UK tax, accounting and anti-fraud obligations.
  • Security and abuse logs: Anonymised or hashed records used to detect fraud, abuse or security incidents may be retained for up to 12 months.
  • Backups: Encrypted backups are rotated on a fixed schedule and any residual data is purged within 90 days of account deletion.

Retained records are stored securely, are not used for marketing, and are deleted as soon as the legal retention period expires.

6. This Action Is Permanent

Account deletion cannot be undone. Once your account is closed and your data has been removed, we cannot recover it, including any quotes, invoices, customer records or photos. If you only want to take a break, consider cancelling your subscription instead — your data will be preserved if you choose to return.
