How to Use This Template
This spreadsheet tracks every deposit you've requested, received, and chased. It includes client name, event date, deposit amount, date requested, date paid, payment method, and a status column (pending, paid, overdue). A dashboard tab shows your total outstanding deposits, upcoming due dates, and overdue amounts that need chasing.
Update this every time you send a deposit request or receive payment. Colour-code the status column so overdue deposits jump out at you. Set yourself a reminder to chase anything unpaid after 7 days — the longer you leave it, the harder it gets. Keep notes on any payment plans you've agreed.
